JON OLIVA'S PAIN: New Port Richey Concert To Be Webcast

JON OLIVA'S PAIN's May 15 concert at Bourbon Street in New Port Richey, Florida will be webcast via Synclive. Just go to www.synclive.com and register to watch the show.

JON OLIVA'S PAIN has inked a new deal with AFM Records for the release of the band's fourth CD, tentatively due in October, and its first live DVD, to be filmed in early 2010. Pre-production on 13 songs is near completion and the group will begin recording in early July following its summer festival tour in Europe.

The band is planning a two-hour show with a setlist consisting of the four JON OLIVA'S PAIN CDs as well as a healthy assault of SAVATAGE classics.

Commented JON OLIVA'S PAIN drummer Christopher Kinder: "[The upcoming album] should prove to be much heavier and far more agressive overall than our previous releases. A few epic songs are always part of the equation, but we wanted to make a record that was more in line with 'Maniacal Renderings' meets 'Hall of Mountain King'.... and the current demos prove to be just that."

JON OLIVA'S PAIN's latest album, "Global Warning", was released in the U.S. in May 2008 via Locomotive Records. The CD features a guest appearance by guitarist Ralph Santolla (OBITUARY, ex-DEICIDE, DEATH, ICED EARTH) on two songs: "Adding the Cost" and "You'll Never Know".
